Archipelago of Les Embiez

Consists of l’Ile des Embiez (95 square metres), Gaou island, the islands of Petit and Grand Rouveau, and the Magons islets.
L’Ile des Embiez lends itself to escapism and dreams… : Exertion, rejuvenation, relaxation it’s your choice!
For a sense of general well-being the choice is wide open: balneotherapy, island wine tastings, restaurant discoveries and lots of sea air! Containing 90% of the natural species of the Mediterranean, the islands of Les Embiez are rich in flora and fauna. Its wild side is both most surprising and most enjoyed: secret coves, reefs, pine forests and scrublands, flowers and vines. By foot, by bike or on the little train, the spectacular island views and natural diversity create a unique experience…
Internationally reputed site for yachtsmen, divers and sea lovers, the island is also known for its Oceanographic Institute which harbours an aquarium.
Tour of the island 7 km – 1hr30mins to 2hrs by foot – 40 mins by small train – 12 mins to cross.

Gaou peninsula

Located in the extension of the Port of Le Brusc, facing l’Ile des Embiez, this little bit of paradise is accessible by a footbridge. Many coves. Picnic area. Dogs must be kept on a lead. Bicycles and fires prohibited.
Every summer in the month of July, come listen to the Festival of the “Gaou Voices”. (Island closed on festival days).

Cap Sicie Forest

Health and fitness trail course, Mountain bike course
Mediterranean forest on schistose soil managed by the National Forest Office, 1600 hectares extending from le Brusc (Six Fours) to Fabrégas (La Seyne). Best explored in the spring or autumn. Numerous types of plant life some of which are protected: rockroses, cork oak, broom, Aleppo pines, juniper…

Aquavision

Come face-to-face with nature in the sites protected by Natura 2000, who preserve both coastline and landscape. You will step onto the deck of this ship, part-boat, part-submarine.
After a 15 minute boat ride with commentary by the captain, you will go down into the huge, transparent, 10 m long nacelle, for an extraordinary voyage into the deep blue sea. Your crew, experts in marine biology, will help you recognize the many fish species swimming close to the big Aquavision port-holes, and will inform you on the bio diversity of the Mediterranean.
Back on deck for the return journey, a pleasant cruise along the coast, with a guided tour of the area. A surprising and informative experience, the trip offered by Aquavision is open to all.

Shoreline Trial of Cap Sicie

Between La Lèque in Six Fours and Fabrégas in La Seyne 9/10kms : hike across the range with it mountainous terrain whose summit culminates at 360 metres, and watch as the unique panorama facing out to the open sea unveils. The highly diversified plant life goes from the underwood (umbrella pines, Aleppo pines, cork oaks, holm-oaks) to a unique scrubland specific to Cap Sicié (cane-apple bushes, aromatic plants).

Circuit Paul Ricard

Renovated and modernised in 2002 following Formula 1 standards, the Circuit Paul Ricard hosts test sessions or official races of various international championships, such as F1 World Championship, Formula Renault 3.5 and 2.0, Formula 2, and also European Le Mans Series (ELMS), Blancpain GT Series, WTCC, FIA WEC, International GT Open, FIM EWC, etc..
Apart from competitions, development tests by teams, car constructors and manufacturers, and private driving sessions, the Circuit also regularly hosts driving courses (car and motorcycle), business events (incentive, seminars, product launches), club gatherings, non-motorised sports events (bicycle races, obstacle course races), and also press presentations, commercial video and photo shoots. Concerts and parties with DJs are also part of the events organised during competition weekends.
The Circuit offers 247 track solutions (from 828 metres to 5,858 metres) adapted to the objectives of each one in terms of vehicle development and training for competitions.

The approach of Cap Plongée : Each dive is unique, so is each diver !
Cap Plongée is above all a small, friendly organisation that allows participants to bond over their enthusiasm for diving as well as share stories and experiences with one another.
15 divers max, we make sure to offer each diver an experience that is suited to their level and their needs.
Thanks to the wealth of the Embiez archipelago sea beds, the majority of our dives occur 20 metres below the surface, more interesting and safer, the dives in this area also last longer.
However to satisfy the more experienced divers, the archipelago also offers a whole range of dives which will gradually take you a little deeper.
The aim of Cap Plongée is also to give you solid technical training so that each dive will bring you more skills and experience to get the most from your outings, whilst in complete safety. We will accompany you and offer you advice, whilst promising that you will always enjoy each dive more than the last.
Finally, Cap Plongée can offer you personalised training.
Based on your initial level, together we can work out whether you will require level 2 or level 3 training.
The set-up :
Located on the port of la Coudoulière at Six Fours les Plages (16km west of Toulon), our diving centre offers you a complete and modern infrastructure.
Our centre is spacious and comfortable and located at the entrance of the port (reception, cloakrooms, toilets, café, pumping area and equipment room).
The rigid-hulled inflatable boat of 7.50 metres is located at less than 50 metres from the centre, which can accommodate 21 divers. However, we take only 15 people on our outings.
Cap Plongée is a professional organisation working in partnership with the Aqualung brand, approved by the main diving organizations (FFESSM, CMAS, ANMP, CEDIP) recognized at international level.

Parc de la Méditérranée

The Parc de la Méditerranée covers about 10 hectares. Its position at the tip of Cap Nègre offers panoramic views without any other similarities on the remarkable elements of the great landscape: the lagoon of Brusc, the Embiez archipelago and the bay of Sanary-sur-Mer, the massif of Cap Sicié and in the distance, La Ciotat's Bec de L'Aigle and the national park of the Calanques. In its new setting, the landscaped garden features 13 thematic zones, with explanatory and interactive panels to guide the public in their visit. The gardens of the Maison du Cygne allow visitors to satisfy interests as different as those of botany (with the rose garden, the orchard or the vegetable garden), learning and educational discovery (children's vegetable gardens, hotel insects and educational hive) but also artistic with the works and exhibitions in the rooms of the Maison du Cygne and those located in the gardens.

Llama farming site
